Beds Linens & Towels
Strip used bed sheets and pillow cases. Place the bed linens and used towels in the laundry room or bathroom. Please separate towels from the bed linens. If beach towels were used, please shake free of all sand before bringing into the home.

Leave Kitchen & Grill Tidy
Any used dishes should be cleaned or put in the dishwasher and the dishwasher started. Any food or drinks brought to the property should be properly disposed of. If you used the gas grill, please clean it.

All Furniture (Inside & Out)
Please ensure you leave all furniture (indoors and out), and other items, in the same place you found them.

Boats, Life Jackets, etc
Rinse off and return life jackets to rack in garage. Rinse off the paddle boards, kayaks & paddles to be free of sand/dirt and return them to the racks. Please ensure the paddleboat cover is back on, and the boat is pulled up onto the shore & is secure.

Dispose of Garbage
Put all trash into the 2 cans provided in the garage. If you choose to recycle, its not collected by city and must be brought to the self-service drop-off by the Manistee County Fairgrounds located in Onekama by Portage Lake.

Set Thermostats
If you are staying during the warm months, please make sure the HVAC system is turned OFF (thermostat in living room). If staying during the colder months, please set HEAT to 60 on living room thermostat and also both downstairs thermostats.

Close/Lock Windows & Doors
Please double (and triple) check windows and doors were not left open on your way out.
